TrustCloud Microsoft 365 integration setup guide

Purpose

A new Microsoft 365 integration that automates evidence collection for Microsoft 365 configuration and security settings. The customer connects via admin consent (multi-tenant Microsoft Entra app); no client IDs or secrets are entered, and TrustCloud reads data read-only via Microsoft Graph.

Connection setup steps

1. Click Connect to Microsoft 365. You will be redirected to Microsoft to authorize TrustCloud.
2. Sign in as a Global Administratorof your Microsoft 365 organization.
3. Review the requested Microsoft Graph permissions (Organization.Read.All, SharePointTenantSettings.Read.All, Policy.Read.All, User.Read.All) and clickAcceptto grant admin consent for your organization.
4. You will be redirected back to TrustCloud, and the connection will be created automatically.

Data Feeds

1. Authentication and Security Settings: organization authentication configuration + security-defaults enforcement policy.
2. SharePoint Settings: tenant-level SharePoint settings (e.g., external sharing).
