Security Settings

The Security Settings page in TrustCloud includes an ‘Automatic Logout’ feature to enhance data protection by managing user sessions.

Functionality:

1. Automatic Session Timeout: Logs users out after a predefined period of inactivity.
2. Unauthorized Access Prevention: Reduces the risk of unauthorized access by ensuring inactive sessions are closed automatically.

Administrators can configure this setting to align with security policies and compliance requirements.

Setting up security settings:

1. From the left-hand side menu, click on “Platform Administration.”
2. Select “Security Settings.”
3. On this page, use the ON/OFF toggle button to enable or disable the automatic logout option. This enables automatic logout for users who have been idle for a certain amount of time. Any unsaved work will be lost when the user is logged out.
4. If you have enabled “Automatic Logout,”  select time from the “Idle Settings” drop-down menu to set the time for automatic logout.
5. Click on the “Save Security Settings” button.
   

By enforcing timely session terminations, administrators mitigate the likelihood of sensitive information exposure in the event of user neglect or device theft.
