In “General Settings” tab, you can see two sub-settings, namely, “Risk Calculation” and “Objective Settings”.

Risk Calculation

The “General Settings” tab allows customers to switch between a ‘Very High to Very Low’ scoring mode and a ‘0-100%’ percentage-based scoring mode. You can switch your program view between “Value” and “Risk Level” based risk calculations from the “View” dropdown.

Select “Value” or “Risk Level” from “View” dropdown and click on the “Update” button.

Objective Settings

Defining organizational objectives, mission, and strategy are mandatory inputs into any risk register. Documenting these parameters is essential to determining how and where risks are identified, analyzed, and eventually mitigated.

For example:

For an organization in movie making,

  1. Mission: The organization’s mission is to change the world through storytelling.
  2. Strategy: The organization’s strategy is to film as many short movies as possible
  3. Objectives: The organization’s goals for Quarter 1, 2022, are to shoot four movies.

Enter details in “Mission”, “Strategy”, and “Objectives” fields and click on the “Update” button.

The following screenshot shows the “Objective Settings”.
