Risk Threshold

Estimated reading: 1 minute 325 views

The risk threshold refers to the predefined level of risk that an organization is willing to accept or tolerate. It represents a boundary beyond which a particular risk is considered unacceptable or requires immediate attention and mitigation. Establishing this is a crucial aspect of the risk management process, as it helps organizations prioritize and allocate resources effectively.

Risk Threshold tab

This tab allows customers to quickly filter risks to ‘hide’ risks below this level. For example, if a user sets this value to medium and then toggles on the “Risk Threshold” button via the “Risk Register” page, all risks below a medium risk level will be hidden.

  1. Go to your TrustRegister program.
  2. Click on “Settings” from the left-hand side menu.
  3. On the “Settings” page, click on “Risk Threshold” tab.
  4. Change the level from “Very High” to “Very Low”, from the drop-down box.
  5. Click on “Update” button.

The following screenshot shows the “Risk Threshold” setting.
