Greenhouse for automated tests with TrustCloud!

Purpose

Once you set up your compliance program, TrustCloud TrustOps works to ensure that your systems remain compliant with your adopted controls. TrustCloud retrieves lists of resources against systems in your product and business stack to use for compliance evidence.

This document outlines the steps you can take to grant TrustCloud access to retrieve a list of job descriptions to use as evidence.

Instructions to grant TrustCloud limited access to Greenhouse metadata

1. Login to your Greenhouse instance as a user who has administrative privileges in your organization.
2. In the upper-right corner of any page, click the gear icon
   
3. In the left sidebar, click on ‘Dev Center’.
   
4. Click on the ‘API Credential Management’.
5. At the top left, click Create New API Key.

   

6. Select ‘Harvest’ as API Type, and type ‘TrustCloud’ (or other name) for Description. Click on the “Manage Permissions” button.

   

7. Click on the “Copy” button and store the API Key for later use, then click on the “I have stored the API Key” button.
8. For permissions, 
   • Under the Jobs section, select ‘Get: Retrieve Job’ and ‘Get: List Jobs’.
   • Under the Job Posts section, select ‘Get: List Job Posts’ and ‘Get: Retrieve Job’. Post for Job. 
   • Under the ‘Job Openings’ section, select ‘Get: List Openings For a Job’.
9. Click on the “Save” button.
10. Enter the API Key copied in step 7 into TrustOps.
