Set up Ceridian for automated tests with TrustCloud!

Purpose

Once you set up your compliance program, TrustCloud TrustOps works to ensure that your systems remain compliant with your adopted controls. To do so, TrustCloud runs automated tests against systems in your product and business stack and verifies that they are properly configured.

This document outlines the steps you can take to grant TrustCloud access to only read metadata about the configuration settings for your Ceridian account so that TrustOps can validate and generate evidence for your compliance program.

Instructions to grant TrustCloud limited access to Ceridian

  1. Determine the host and namespace for your Dayforce instance.
These are typically found as a part of your API URL as https://{host}/api/{namespace}/V1.
    Eg.-
    https://test.dayforcehcm.com/api/CompanyName/V1/
  2. Determine the Company ID.
Your Company ID is unique to your workplace. It may have been given to you in a first-time access email. If not, please inquire with your HR administrator/Ceridian Support.
  3. Determine the username and password for the account that you use to login into your Ceridian account.
  4. Provide the Host, Namespace, Company ID, Username and Password into TrustCloud to integrate with your Ceridian instance.
