TrustCloud’s API-based integrations map seamlessly to your frameworks and controls to power automated evidence collection, continuous monitoring, and predictive risk analysis. Let’s explore how you can set up Microsoft Dynamics HR for automated tests.

Purpose

Once you set up your compliance program, TrustCloud TrustOps works to ensure that your systems remain compliant with your adopted controls. To do so, TrustCloud runs automated tests against systems in your product and business stack and verifies that they are properly configured.

This document outlines the steps you can take to grant TrustCloud access to only read metadata about the configuration settings for your Microsoft Dynamics HR account so that TrustOps can validate and generate evidence for your compliance program.

Instructions to grant TrustCloud limited access to Microsoft Dynamics HR

  1. Sign into your Microsoft Dynamics HR account.
  2. Click the “Dynamics 365” button on the left side of the page.
  3. Go to My App and click on the “Human Resources” button, and you will be redirected to your Microsoft Dynamics HR account.
  4. Fetch the organization URL for your Dynamics HR instance.
To do that, go to your browser’s address bar and copy a link address (from the beginning until /main.aspx/). It may contain the words “dynamics.com” or not.
E.g. – If your URL is https://hr.your-systems.com/<your-system>/main.aspx then You should copy “https://hr.your-systems.com/<your-system>” and store it somewhere for later reference.
  5. Provide the copied organization URL into TrustCloud to integrate with your Dynamics HR instance.
