What is Physical Security, and why is it important?

Physical security consists of security measures in place to protect personnel, hardware, software, networks, and data from physical actions and events that could cause serious loss to an organization. These days, most organizations are cloud-hosted; therefore, the physical security controls become the responsibility of the cloud provider. However, it is still important to vet the physical security of a cloud provider’s data centre. You can do this by requesting their SOC 2 data centre.
